How to install LED modules for signs?

1. Calculate LED Module Quantity & Spacing: Using your calculated spacing, mark the locations for each LED module.
2. Choose the Right Power Supply: Most sign LED modules operate on 12V DC or 24V DC. Ensure your power supply matches the module's voltage.
3. Mount the LED Modules: Many LED modules come with double-sided adhesive tape on the back. Peel off the liner and firmly press each module into place according to your marks. Apply firm, even pressure for a few seconds. For added security, especially in outdoor or vibrating signs, use small screws or apply a dab of electrical-grade RTV silicone adhesive to the edges of each module.
4. Wiring the LED Modules: LED modules are typically wired in parallel circuits, meaning each module or short string of modules is connected directly to the power supply.
5.Connect to LED Power Supply: Connect the main power leads from your LED module runs to the low-voltage output terminals of the power supply (usually labeled V+ and V- or + and -).
6. Final Checks and Testing: Before applying power, visually inspect all connections to ensure they are secure and correctly wired. Once confident, turn on the power. Check that all LED modules illuminate evenly and as expected.
